One of the statutory obligations of the school from the government's end is to provide admission against Right to Education Act 2009. This year too, the school has given admission to these many students. The statistics of the same of this year is given under:

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

  • Name of the candidate seeking admission in the school is registered in the school office.
  • The form duly filled in, should be submitted to the school office alongwith one passport-size photograph each of the student and parents and other documents before the last date, as decided by the school management.
  • For classes Nursery to KG II, admissions are done based on first come first basis.
  • Applicants found suitable for admission, will be intimated for the completion of admission formalities after depositing the required fees alongwith the necessary and relevant documents.
  • The form issued by the school is non- transferable & should be used in its original form.

    INTERVIEW / TEST

  • The school does not have any management quota.
  • From classes Nursery to IX & XI, candidates' admissions will be granted on the basis of availability of seats in the respective classes.
  • In classes Nursery to IX & XI, admission is granted based on the performance in the previous class, the written/admission test and candidate-teacher interaction conducted during seeking admission in the school.
  • The school authority reserves the right to short- list the candidates, after
  • written tests and interviews/ interactions.
  • Incomplete forms shall be rejected during the shortlisting of the candidates.
  • The result must be availed from the school office only.
  • In classes X & XII, admissions are not granted as a matter of policy.
  • 25% of seats are reserved for BPL students which may be filled in after the due permission of DEO if seats are vacant.

    ENCLOSURES REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION

    Copies of the following documents/certificates are required for the final admission:

  • Birth Certificate (photostat) : For Class Nursery
  • Marksheet (photostat) : For Class II onwards.
  • Transfer Certificate (original) (duly countersigned by concerned regional officer - Class II onwards)
  • Migration Certificate (original) if from other state.
  • Two recent attested photographs of the applicant & parents
  • Aadhar number of the student & parents
  • Bank statement ( photostat)...

  • Transfer certificate should be issued after having been duly signed by the regular principal/vice principal. It should be countersigned by an officer not below the rank of district inspector of schools/deputy director of education/education officer of the education department of the state/union territory concerned.
  • No admission will be validated till the above mentioned documents are submitted.
  • Even if the admission fee is remitted, the admission will be only provisional till the above written documents are deposited and found correct by the school authority.
  • Admission in Classes Nursery to I requires a xerox copy of the original birth certificate issued by the registrar of birth of a municipal body. It must be attested by a gazette officer.
  • SCHOOL UNIFORM

    On Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays

    Girl: Dark steel grey, pleated tunic for Nur to class-VIII and dark steel grey divided skirt for Class IX and above, half-sleeved prescribed checked shirt, black shoes, steel grey socks, school tie and belt. Hair must be fastened with black hairband in two plaits.

    Boy: Dark steel grey half-pants for Nur to class-VIII, full-pants of the same colour for Class IX and above, half-sleeved prescribed checked shirts, school tie, steel grey socks, plain black shoes and belt. The Sikh boys may wear black turban / patka and kadaa in addition to those mentioned above. ...

    On Wednesdays and Saturdays:


    Girls: White pleated tunic for Nur to Class VIII white half-sleeved shirt, white shoes, white socks along with school tie and belt. Hair should be fastened with white hair band in two plaits. For Class IX and above, the girls have to wear white divided skirt, white half-sleeved shirt, school tie, belt, white socks and white canvas shoes.

    Boys: For Nur to Class VIII, white half-pants, white half-sleeved shirt, white socks, white canvas shoes along with school tie and belt. For Classes IX and above, white full-pants, white half-sleeved shirts, white socks, white canvas shoes along with school tie and belt. The Sikh boys are allowed to wear white turban / patka and kadaa in addition to those mentioned above.

  • Whenever a student visits the school alone / with parents for whatsoever the reason may be, he/she must be in school uniform.
  • If any student will be seen getting involved in any form of indisciplined activity anywhere inside/outside the premises of the school during/beyond the school hours in school uniform, action deemed proper will be taken against him/her.
  • No relaxation in school uniform on birthdays shall be allowed.

  • Winter Uniform (November-March) (in addition to the summer uniform)

  • For Classes Nur to VIII: The students must wear sleeveless sweaters or pullovers of dark steel grey colour with V-neck shaped collar. It is essential that the sweaters / pullovers are labelled (inside) properly with the name of the user.
  • For classes IX and above: The students must wear sleeveless sweaters of dark steel grey colour with V-neck shaped collar or two buttoned blazers of navy blue colour or both, if required. It is essential that the sweaters / blazers are labelled (inside) properly with the name of the user.
  • Boy students from Classes Nur to XII are supposed to wear full pants w.e.f. 1 November.
  • Girl students from Classes Nur to XII are supposed to wear long winter cotton/woollen socks w.e.f. 1 November.
  • It is compulsory for all the students of Classes Nur to XII to wear blazers and sweaters w.e.f. 1 December.
  • Mode of Payment

  • All fees are payable in advance either by cash or cheque (favouring “O. P. Jindal School, Kunjemura”) on quarterly basis from 5th to 15th of every month between 09:00 am to 1.00 pm. Thereafter, fortnightly a fine of Rs. 10/15 days is to be charged.
  • Payment can be made both in online and offline mode.
  • Student’s name will be struck off if the fees is not paid till the 15th date of the respective month.
  • The student may be re-admitted only at the discretion of the principal on payment of all arrears.
  • Fees can be deposited in advance for any number of installments or for the full session if it is desired.
  • The date of presentation of the cheque will be treated as date of payment provided the cheque is not dishonoured....
  • Any cheque returned by the bank will be treated under the category of non-payment of fees and legal action will be taken against the person, and fee will be recovered with amount of fine.
  • In case of doubt regarding the payment of any dues, parents/guardians are advised to make the payment first and seek refund later.
  • Parents may kindly keep the payment receipts in safe custody and produce the same to school in proof of their payment or else they may quote the receipt number.
  • Parents are requested to give correct particulars such as admission no., name, class & section of the student while depositing the fee.
  • If the students are admitted late during the post session, fees will be realised on pro-data basis.
  • Parents must ensure the payment of all the dues of a term, before the term end examination commences. The admit card for the term end examination will be issued only if there are no dues against the students.
